Off the back of a maiden win at Canberra, she raced to another clear-cut victory.
Le Gai Soleil is trained by John O’Shea and with two wins from three starts she looks bound for much better company.
The three-year-old is part-owned by the Bax family of Blandford Lodge, who bred the filly.
Le Gai Soleil also possesses a pedigree to instill further confidence.
She is a daughter of Night Danza, also the dam of the dual Group One winner Danzdanzdance.
It is also the family of Lucia Valentina, a three-time winner at the highest level, and the Group Two winner Silky Red Boxer.
