Tavistock Gelding Registers Caulfield Black-Type

13 Apr 2018

The Tavistock gelding Won Won Too became his Gr.1 sire’s 16th individual stakes winner this afternoon, when he registered a game win in the hands of Jordan Childs in Caulfield's Listed Galilee Series Final Hcp.

Won Won Too is bred by Cambridge Stud’s very own Lloyd Monehan, along with his wife Heather, and is the first named foal from their Casual Lies mare, Celtic Dream.

Trained by Lindsay Park Racing’s David and Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig, the future looks bright for Won Won Too, who is now the winner of two from seven.

A $200,000 graduate from Sam Beatson’s 2016 NZB Ready to Run Sale Riversley Park draft, Won Won Too was purchased by owner Eric Wong, who subsequently gave him his name based on his lot number 112.

Congrats to Lloyd, Heather, Eric, David, Ben, Tom, Sam, and Jordan on your special win today!
