Tavistock leads three premiership tables

Cambridge Stud's young gun stallion Tavistock currently sits at the head of three premiership tables, according to figures supplied by Arion Pedigrees.



LEADING SECOND SEASON SIRE

Tavistock leads this premiership by around $40,000 from Thewayyouare, with Swiss Ace in third position.  Tavistock has had 10 runners to date for 2 winners (Avisto & Volkstok'n'barrell).  Both the mentioned horses have won two races apiece and overall prize money sits at $124,625.



LEADING SIRE OF THREE-YEAR-OLDS

Although Tavistock has only first crop three-year-olds to represent him, he nevertheless sits at the head of the 3YO Premiership, with Iffraaj - sire of last Saturday's Hawkes Bay Guineas winner Turn Me Loose - in second position.



LEADING NZ SIRE FOR STAKES WINS

Tavistock's progeny have won three stakes races so far this season; Avisto has won two Listed Races while Volkstok'n'barrell is a Group Three winner.  Sharing second position on this list is Pins (2) and No Excuse Needed (2), while sharing the next line are Savabeel, O'Reilly, Iffraaj, Darci Brahma, Footstepsinthesand, Elusive City, Thewayyouare, Encosta de Lago and Danehill Dancer.


Tavistock (Montjeu ex Upstage, by Quest for Fame) has been in huge demand this season and his book was closed last Tuesday.
