Mosheen (Fastnet Rock ex Sumehra, by Stravinsky) steps out on Saturday at Flemington and will be looking to add the A$750,000 Australian Guineas-Gr.1 (1600m) to her impressive CV which includes the VRC Oaks-Gr.1 (2500m) during the Spring Carnival.
Mosheen is one of just five racetrack representatives so far carrying the cross of Fastnet Rock over a Stravinsky mare.
For the record, according to figures provided today by Arion Pedigrees (

), the strike rate for this cross to date is 4 winners from 5 starters; the others being Italian Alps (juvenile winner in Australia this season), Rock the Dark Side (winner in Australia this season) and Columbus Line (winner in NZ last season).
Stravinsky is now a permanent part of the Cambridge Stud stallion roster.
