Deane Martin (Keeper ex Ala Nimue, by Zabeel) has now won 6 of his 26 starts and Saturday's win took his career earnings to A$206,393. At three years he won the Champion Stakes Prelude-LR (2100m) at Ellerslie.
Kalinda (Keeper ex Lady Carlotta, by Westminster) chalked up her second victory when successful at Ellerslie on Saturday over 2100m, while Keeper's other winner for the day was Better Keeper (ex Bowen Arrow, by Faltaat) who took out a Rating 85 event over 1200m at New Plymouth.
Better Keeper now has a record of 6 wins and 8 placings from 21 starts.
Keeper currently leads the New Zealand Stallion Premiership for Winners (16) and sits in second position, behind No Excuse Needed, on the General Premiership.
