Tip the Wink’s win in brilliant time in yesterday’s Sakhee’s Secret Lightning Stakes-LR (1200m) at Trentham Gardens provided Cambridge Stud shuttler Stravinsky with his 60th individual black type winner.

It was the first attempt at Stakes Company for Tip the Wink (Stravinsky ex Kape Dancer, by Kaapstad) and she showed courage to hold out Bankside Belle by a nose, cutting the 1200m out in 1.07.24.

Tip the Wink is prepared by Mike Breslin in Palmerston North for her Christchurch owner Greg Tomlinson.  The bay mare, who was bred by Cambridge Veterinarian Jonathan Hope, boasts a record of 16 starts for 5 wins, 6 seconds and 1 third.
