Too Easy for Twoeezy

27 Oct 2007

Trainer Murray Baker described
Keeper(AUS) gelding, Twoeezy's (Stareel(Zabeel))  run in the $20,000 1600m Christmas at the Races - 8 December Handicap at Trentham yesterday as a "very good run".

"I think this horse has stakes potential," Baker said after Twoeezy won by one and a half lengths. "He's a very promising horse and he ran a lot better with blinkers on after running erratically at his last outing at Hawkes Bay."

Baker believes the horse is capable of running over more ground and said he is nominated for the First Sovereign Trust Levin Classic (G1) at the end of November.

"He will run over 2000m, being out of Stareel who was out of Staring, which I trained, so he is bred to go over more ground on his dam's side."

Baker said the
Keeper(AUS) horses are proving they can run on any sort of track and are really starting to do well.

"Twoeezy is a lovely relaxed horse, I really think he is a pretty good horse."

Twoeezy was bred by JP & MM Andersen and is raced by them along with AI, MJ Mrs SS &Mrs WA Craig and ED Hepburn.

He has had four starts for two wins and a fourth which Baker described as being an "unlucky race where he got held up and should have won."

He has won just over $16,500 in stakes.
