29 Sep 2018Trainer Darren Weir's successful yard emerged with two noted classic contenders by Tavistock last week, following smart maiden-breaking efforts by Tavidance and Stripping Royalty.
Winning on debut at Ballarat last Sunday, Tavidance put his hand up for a possible tilt at the Gr.1 AAMI Victoria Derby at Flemington on November 3.
Stripping Royalty, on the other hand, won her maiden at start number four at Bendigo yesterday. Having placed in all three of her other starts she looks well set to target the Gr.1 Kennedy Oaks at Flemington on November 8.
