Unbeaten Stravinsky mare Crystal Fountain will kick off her four-year-old campaign at Geelong on Wednesday. The striking chestnut, bred by Cambridge Stud's Sir Patrick and Justine, Lady Hogan, was unbeaten during her summer campaign with victories coming at Werribee, Geelong and Moonee Valley.

On Wednesday, Crystal Fountain returns to Geelong to begin her spring campaign in the 1100m Benchmark 70 event with Mark Zahra booked to have his first ride on the mare.

"She has only had one jump out at Flemington to prepare for the race and her work on Saturday morning was right on the mark," Lee and Anthony Freedman's racing manager Brad Taylor told Freedman.com.au.

"With her breeding and being owned by Coolmore Stud, James Bester and Robert and Barbara McClure from Morning Rise Stud, the aim this campaign is black-type."
