HIGHLY RECOMMENDED's talented son WALDORF, who was a dual black-type winner in New Zealand, demonstrated his significant class with career win number three in Hong Kong last night.

Trained by Tony Cruz, Waldorf has been racing in a rich vein of form of late, with his last seven starts resulting in three wins and three placings.

Bred by Mike and Anne McSweeney, Waldorf is out of the unraced Pins mare Skite.

He was offered by Berkley Stud at the 2016 Select Sale, where he was purchased for $30,000 by Andrew Campbell.

With six career wins including the Listed Wanganui Guineas and the Listed Ryder Stakes, Waldor has now returned NZ$678,781 in earnings to his connections.
