Wanganui Winner For Keeper

Cambridge Stud-based sire
Keeper was represented by his latest winner,
Keep The Heat, at Thursday's Wanganui Jockey Club meeting at Wanganui.


Keep The Heat (ex Energy Efficient) became the 78th individual winner sired by Keeper, a Group 1 winning son of Danehil. This has resulted in a total of 143 wins by his progeny.


Keeper has had five stakes winners during his stud career to date including the Group 1 winners, Insouciant and Keepa Cruisin.


Keep The Heat, who was bred by Cambridge's Trelawney Stud, is a four-year-old gelding sired by Keeper whose oldest progeny are four-year-olds of this season.


Keep The Heat is trained at Awapuni by Trina Marshall.


Keeper was also represented by a recent winner in Australia, Keepin' The Dream (ex Irish Nassie) who was successful in a 1400m event at Illawarra. He was bred by Ms M Watson.
