Winners continue to flow for Almanzor31 Mar 2022

A dominant frontrunning display from That’s My Power has seen the Almanzor three-year-old open his winning account in France.

Trained by Henri Alex Pantall, the colt had finished runner-up over 1900 metres on debut to fellow Almanzor son Point of Fact and had no trouble going one better over 2100 metres on his return to Chantilly.

That’s My Power was quickly into stride to make the running and, when challenged in the run home, he answered every call of rider Cristian Demuro to forge clear and win by three-quarters of a length.

He is a son of the winning Rail Link mare Train Time, a half-sister to black-type winner Protectress and the immediate family of Distain and Gaining, both successful at Group 3 level.

Almanzor has now sired 20 worldwide winners with his best representative to date the Karaka Million winner and G1 Sistema Stakes runner-up Dynastic.
