Yulong Tavion Makes Winning Return14 Oct 2019

A change of environment has had the desired effect on the Tavistock four-year-old Yulong Tavion.
He was a debut winner for Mick Price before being transferred to Patrick Payne’s stable.
The Cambridge Stud graduate made his first appearance from his new quarters at Echuca yesterday.
Off the back of two trials, he was a dominant first-up winner over 1600 metres under 62kg.
Yulong Tavion was purchased at the 2017 NZB Premier Yearling Sale by Yu Long Park Investment for $425,000.
He is out of the unraced Zabeel mare On Arrival. The dam is a three-quarter sister to the stakes winner Tristachine and half-sister to the Gr.3 Gold Trail Stakes winner Rhythm.
It’s also the family of the Gr.2 Reisling Stakes winner Hips Don’t Lie.
Tavistock has enjoyed a stellar start to the new season in Australia with 24 individual winners already on the board.
