Zabeel remains on top of the Australian Broodmare Sire Premiership, nearly A$450,000 clear of closest rival Danehill.
According to figures provided by Arion Pedigrees (www.arion.co.nz), Zabeel is the damsire of 72 winners in Australia so far this season. He’s been the sire-of-the-dam of 8 black type winners including Southern Speed (Caulfield Cup-Gr.1) and Atlantic Jewel (1000 Guineas-Gr.1).
Fellow Cambridge Stud stallion Stravinsky also appears in the top twenty on the Australian Broodmare Sire Premiership. He’s in 18th position with progeny earnings of A$1,081,259, with the VRC Oaks-Gr.1 winner Mosheen being the major contributor.
