Zabeel clocked up his 122nd individual black type winner when Scouting Wide (NZ) took out yesterday's STC Christmas Cup-LR (2400m) at Rosehill Gardens in Sydney.
Prepared by Tim Martin, Scouting Wide has never been out of a placing in 11 starts, having now won 3 & been placed 8 times.
The five-year-old was purchased by Bloodstock Consultant Steve Brem for $200,000 from the consignment of Windsor Park Stud at the 2006 New Zealand Bloodstock Karaka Premier Sale.
The Listed Race win was one of four victories for the stock of Zabeel yesterday; he was also represented by Forbes (ex Indent) at Eagle Farm; Cabeza (ex Lady Iguazu) at Flemington and Royal Era (ex Tudor Era) at Awapuni.
