Zabeel is currently the leading broodmare sire in Australia for the 2008/09 racing season.
Zabeel's record as a sire in Australasia is well recognised with his own numerous sire titles on both sides of the Tasman.
Now it is clear his sons and daughters are making their mark at stud.
Zabeel leads the way in Australia as a broodmare sire with his daughter's progeny having earned A$3.96 million this season.
Leading the way is Zabeel's outstanding grand-daughter Samantha Miss who has earned A$1.34 million in her three-year-old racing campaign this season.
Samantha Miss won the Group 1 A$1 million Victoria Oaks (2500m) at Flemington on November 6. She also finished a fine third in the Group 1 A$3 million Cox Plate in Melbourne on October 25 and won the Group 1 A$400,000 Flight Stakes in Sydney on October 4. She has won 7 of her 11 starts to date.
