The successful applicant will play an important part in caring for our broodmares and foals before, during and after foaling, while working as part of a professional, high-performing team.
Catching, leading and safely handling mares
Assisting with foaling and post-foaling procedures
Maintaining a safe working environment and following all health and safety procedures
Working collaboratively with the team to maintain consistently high standards of care
Contributing to a positive, professional and high-performance culture focused on excellence in horse care and welfare
We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous experience handling horses
Has good horsemanship skills and is confident working with mares
Has a sound understanding of horse behaviour, welfare and safe handling practices
Has excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Is reliable, proactive and willing to get involved in all aspects of the role
Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Takes pride in maintaining high standards of horse care
