Unbeaten youngster Valasara has quickly added further black type honours to her illustrious pedigree.
A juvenile daughter of our shuttle stallion Hello Youmzain, she handled a rise in class at Deauville with aplomb to put away her rivals over 1000 metres in the Listed Prix de la Vallee d’Auge.
She enjoyed a good run near the pace and proved superior in the closing stages to open her career with consecutive victories.
The precocious filly is prepared by Group 1-winning trainer Francis-Henri Graffard with rider Clement Lecoeuvre sporting the silks of breeder and owner the Aga Khan Studs.
Valasara had previously won at the first time of asking over 1200 metres on the course in early July.
"She's out of an Acclamation mare and by Hello Youmzain, so she's bred for speed and physically she really stood out beforehand," said Nemone Routh, Racing Manager in France for the Aga Khan Studs.
"It's not that surprising given her pedigree she can perform over five furlongs, but she was the least experienced in the field, so I think she was pretty impressive.
"I haven't spoken to Francis (Graffard) about what's in his head for a next race, but she's entered in the Group 3 Prix d'Arenberg at the end of the month."
A half-sister to a pair of multiple winners, Valasara is out of Valdaya who was successful as a two-year-old and a half-sister to the G1 French Oaks winner Valyra.
Their stakes-winning dam Valima also produced the dual Group winner and former champion three-year-old French stayer Valirann.
Top-flight winners Valixir, Val Royal, Vadamos, Vadawina, Vadeni also feature in this potent pedigree.
