United Kingdom relished the improved underfoot conditions at Rosehill to further his record.
The Chris Waller-trained son of Almanzor lengthened stride impressively on top of the ground in the hands of James McDonald to score over 1800 metres.
United Kingdom has now delivered both of his career victories on good surfaces and a further six placings from 11 appearances emphasises the genuine nature of the five-year-old.
“James rode him back with cover and around the corner got him out and he’s won comfortably,” Waller said.
“He’s by Almanzor so another run over 1800 metres or further will suit him and hopefully he wins again.
“It’s good to see him back and first-up (at Canterbury) he just didn’t handle the heavy track.”
Bred by Christopher Grace, United Kingdom was offered through Bhima Thoroughbreds’ draft at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale and knocked down to Aramco Racing for A$260,000.
