Our shuttle stallion Hello Youmzaincontinued his grand run of form when Cream Tart made a bold winning statementat Te Aroha.

He now has five individual New Zealandwinners from his first Southern Hemisphere crop and a fast closing second inthe race for Champion First Season Sires’ honours.

Cream Tart’s success over 1150 metres waswidely anticipated as she had rounded off strongly to finish runner-up on debutat Matamata last month.

The Tony Pike-trained filly was rated byrider Craig Grylls as his best on the card and he was on the money as his mountimproved wide out from the back of the field.

She careered away in the run home by sevenand a-quarter lengths with a performance that augurs well for herthree-year-old season.

Cream Tart was a $220,000 purchase by Pikeout of breeder Windsor Park Stud’s draft at New Zealand Bloodstock’s NationalYearling Sale.

She is a half-sister to the dual Group 1winner Mustang Valley with their dam the New Approach mare Cream Of The Cropand the family of former two-time Australian Horse of the Year Might And Power.
