Chris Waller Racing and Partners have reached an agreement with Sir Brendan and Lady Jo Lindsay of Cambridge Stud for Joliestar to again carry their slot in the 2026 TAB Everest at Royal Randwick — her third consecutive year representing the CWR and Partners slot.
The slot — made up of Neville and Jenny Morgan, Chris Waller Racing, Peter and Patricia Tighe (Magic Bloodstock), Noel and Maria Greenhalgh, and Ingham Racing — continues its successful partnership with Cambridge Stud behind one of Australia's finest sprinting mares.
Joliestar has been one of the standout sprinters in Australian racing over the past few seasons, backing up her Australian Group 1 form with an admirable showing at Royal Ascot before returning home to prepare for this year's race. The six-year-old arrives at Royal Randwick for her third Everest tilt in career-best form.
"Her form over the past 12 months has been that of the premier Australian sprinter," said Chris Waller. "She went to Royal Ascot and performed admirably against some of the best sprinters in the world, which gave everyone involved enormous confidence in just how good she is. To have her represent the slot for a third consecutive time is a fantastic result, and we're incredibly excited to see her back at Royal Randwick."
"The importance of this agreement goes well beyond simply securing a slot for The Everest," said Sir Brendan Lindsay of Cambridge Stud. "It reflects the strength of the relationship that has developed between Cambridge Stud and the partners of the CWR slot. There is a genuine level of trust, respect and understanding between the parties, and that makes an agreement such as this both feasible and important.
"Joliestar has given Cambridge Stud some incredible moments already, and her performance on the international stage at Royal Ascot was another example of the quality she possesses. To have her back representing Cambridge Stud and the CWR partners in The Everest for a third consecutive year is incredibly special."
"Joliestar has earned the right to be there again," said Peter Tighe of Magic Bloodstock. "She has continued to perform at the highest level in Australia and competed admirably at Royal Ascot. We are delighted she will once again carry the colours of Cambridge Stud in our slot in The Everest."
"There is a great deal of confidence on both sides," said Noel Greenhalgh. "We know what Joliestar is capable of, and the relationship we've built with Cambridge over the past few years makes these decisions easy. She has earned another opportunity, and we couldn't be happier to have her representing our slot for a third time."
Joliestar now heads to Royal Randwick for the 2026 TAB Everest, aiming to add another chapter to a career that already includes multiple Group 1 wins and an international run at Royal Ascot.
