Hayley back in fine style

Hello Hayley returned in style when the daughter of Hello Youmzain successfully opened her spring preparation with victory over 1400 metres at Ashburton.

Trained by Sophie Price, our homebred was ridden by Jasmine Fawcett and settled midfield on the fence before she was into clear air 250 metres from home to round off strongly.

Hello Hayley has won four of her11 appearances, including consecutives stakes successes last season in the Listed Southland Guineas and Listed Dunedin Guineas.

She is a half-sister to The Autumn Sun five-year-old Livalittle, who has won seven races in our colours from the top Queensland stable of Tony Gollan.

Their dam is the Thorn Park mare Hayley Grace who is a half-sister to the G2 Waikato Gold Cup winner Bak Da Chief, dam of the two-time Group 1 scorer Te Akau Shark.
