Hello Youmzain fillies dominate

Valasara returned to winning ways in the Listed Prix de Bonneval at Chantilly to spearhead a stakes quinella for our shuttle stallion Hello Youmzain.

Prepared for the Aga Khan by Francis-Henri Graffard, the three-year-old was unbeaten in her first two appearances including the Listed Prix de la Vallee before finishing third in the G3 Prix Imprudence and a fourth at Chantilly.

“She is showing a lot of courage. She can be a little temperamental, it's a bit she who decides, but she shows a lot of generosity in the effort,” Aga Khan Stud Director Nemone Routh said.

The filly was ridden by Mickael Barzalona and at the end of 1100 metres got the better of a gallant Victory Call.

A half-sister to a pair of multiple winners, Valasara is out of Valdaya who was successful as a two-year-old and a half-sister to the G1 French Oaks winner Valyra.

The family further features top-flight winners Valixir, Val Royal, Vadamos, Vadawina, Vadeni.
