Hello Youmzain looks to have another promising three-year-old coming through the ranks following Bramito’s win at Tauranga.
Ridden with patience by Masa Hashizume, the Paul Richards-trained Bramito showed a brilliant turn of foot inside the final furlong to reel in his rivals, striking the front in the final strides to beat the Sword Of State filly Imperial Rose.
A winner of two of his last three starts, Bramito is raced by his breeders, Bill and Sandra Duell, and is out of their Coat’s Choice mare Passito. A five-time winner on the track, Passito has now produced two winners from just three runners.
The win of Bramito continues the great run of form from Hello Youmzain’s second crop which has produced 12 individual winners from 30 runners and includes 10 stakes performers.
