Immediacy will head to the Queensland winter carnival at the top of his game following our homebred son of Tarzino’s latest winning run at Caulfield.

The Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young-trained four-year-old had also triumphed at his previous start at Mornington to complete 2000 metres successes on the bounce ahead of a trip away.

“He’s come back bigger and stronger following a good break, he’s furnished into a really nice horse,” Young said.

“We’ll carry on now to the Chairman’s (G3, 2000m) and the Brisbane Cup (G2, 3200m).”

At Caulfield, Immediacy bowled along in the one-one for jockey Blake Shinn to the home bend and they drew clear in the run to the post.

“We had a lovely run and it takes him 200 metres to really wind up and once he hits top gear, he can maintain it. He’s a really talented horse,” Shinn said.

Immediacy is a son of our Pivotal mare But Beautiful, a three-time winner in England up to 1600 metres and a half-sister to the stakes winners Ayrad and Dawn Of Hope.

But Beautiful’s second dam is the G1 Beverley D Stakes winner Fire The Groom, mother of the multiple Group 1-winning sprinter Stravinsky, who enjoyed such a successful stallion career at Cambridge Stud.

All four of But Beautiful’s foals to race have been successful, including our dual stakes winner Bella Waters, and we sold her Hello Youmzain filly to Busuttin and Andrew Wiliams Bloodstock for $240,000 at Karaka last year.

The dam produced a colt by Embellish in 2024.

Immediacy was originally secured as a yearling from the draft of Kiltannon Stables at Karaka for $15,000 by Game Lodge.

He was then purchased by Busuttin and Group 1 Racing for $200,000 when offered by Riverrrock Farm at the Ready to Run Sale.
