Tavistock’s son Casa Legend has broken his duck in Hong Kong with an overdue success at Sha Tin.The Michael Chang-trained four-year-old had been a multiple placegetter before he overcame a slow start to power to victory over 1600 metres under rider Matthew Poon.We bred Casa Legend who was sold on our behalf by Kiltannon Stables at New Zealand Bloodstock’s National Yearling Sale where he was knocked down for $16,000.He was a juvenile trial winner at Waverley from Sam Lennox’s stable before his sale and relocation to Hong Kong.He is a son of the late Sepoy mare Sea Venture whose second dam is the two-time Group 1 winner Lovetrista and members of the prepotent Eight Carat family.
