Exceedance mare strikes again

Exciting mare Dance To The Boom bounced back to her best when the Bjorn Baker-trained four-year-old with victory on the Kensington track at Randwick.

Unplaced when opening her campaign, our richly bred daughter of Exceedance was given a confident ride by James McDonald and made all the running to dominate her rivals over 1400 metres.

Dance To The Boom has fashioned a tidy record with four victories from seven appearances and last season added further black type to her impressive pedigree with success in the Listed Gosford Guineas over 1200 metres.

We purchased her out of breeder Rosemont Stud’s draft for A$250,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

She is the first foal of the unraced I Am Invincible mare Bim Bam Boom, who is a half-sister to the G1 Easter Handicap winner Albany Reunion and the Listed Champagne Stakes winner and top-flight placegetter Fast Dragon.

A decorated pedigree page features the presences of Group winners Royal Discretion and Sun City, as well as Listed winners Roulettes, Giannis, Parlophone, Vezalay, Shesallshenanigans, Shelby Cobra and Rock Lobster.

Family members Sunrise Silence and Sir Frenchie were also successful at black type level in South Africa.
