Exciting prospect King Of Enterprise continued his hot run of form to account for a tidy field of three-year-olds metres at Warrnmbool.

Our homebred son of Impending produced another eye-catching performance, carrying his clear topweight of 58.5kg to victory over 1400 metres.

Trained by Natalie Young and Trent Busuttin, King Of Enterprise has won his last two starts after finishing runner-up when opening his current campaign.

“He’s had a wonderful prep. He’s a lovely horse and we’ll try and find a race in the next couple of weeks at Caulfield or Flemington for him,” Young said.

King of Enterprise drifted back from a wide gate before improving 500 metres from home and finished determinedly to take his record to three wins and two placings from seven appearances.

“It was a good race and he had the weight, conceding to some opposition with city form and he had to reel them in,” regular rider Blake Shinn said.

“He’s progressive and talented, he’s going places.”

King Of Enterprise was offered by BMD Bloodstock at New Zealand Bloodstock’s Ready to Run Sale where Busuttin Racing parted with $90,000 to secure him.

He is out of the unraced High Chaparral mare High Vogue, purchased for 110,000gns on our behalf by agent John Foote at a Tattersalls October Yearling Sale.

She is a sister to former champion European 3YO and multiple Group 1 winer Luxembourg, whose half-brother Leo De Fury was successful at Group 2 level.

We sold High Vogue’s colt by Sword Of State sold for $200,000 to Queensland’s KPB Bloodstock at Karaka earlier this year.

The dam had a filly last season by our Group 1-winning son of Snitzel before another successful return visit.
